Where a canopy cannot be installed, or as an additional layer of protection: sleeping textiles sewn in YSHIELD's own workshop from STEEL-GRAY and BLACK-JERSEY fabrics. All are in the 42 dB attenuation class and keep their performance when washed with TEXCARE detergent.
All bed textiles are washed with TEXCARE detergent at 30°C on a low spin cycle; no tumble-drying or bleach. With proper care, the conductive threads keep their performance for many years.
It provides meaningful attenuation for the area it covers (42 dB class); for room-wide protection, however, it should be considered together with a canopy or structural solutions.
STEEL-GRAY is a woven fabric with stainless-steel threads and a cooler feel; BLACK-JERSEY is a flexible, soft knit with silver threads. The protection class is similar; comfort preference decides.
No; the fabrics are made from textile-certified raw materials. For sensitive skin, a natural layer can be placed in between, like the TSB's cotton liner.
